Jed on Breakfast Television
On a recent, BTV appearance, Jed Puznak presented a modern take on three classic colours: the redhead, the brunette and the blonde. Jed: “There is way more demand for colour that flatters and makes you feel beautiful than is gimmicky. Think of any current actor or model; we are definitely in the era of pretty hair colour.” Three of Jed’s client make the case for keeping it as natural as possible, whatever your desired shade. We present Reagan, Rose and Robyn:
Reagan is a brilliant writer/mother of 3/ ginger-sister. Her beautiful ivory skin tone is the perfect compliment to being a copperhead,so much, that her tint is often mistaken for being au naturel. Finding the right shade of red is no easy task; Jed advises, “Consult your most fashionable-loved ones; outside opinions are so helpful when it comes to matters of colour choice. ” Disclaimer: this is high maintenance territory- be prepared for strategizing on how to keep your red at its optimum.
Rose is an iconic model/mother of 3/ cocoa brunette. True confessions: the beauty of Rose’s hair comes via the brilliant shears of Tony Masciangelo. Jed: “I just brighten her espresso-brown by one shade to add subtle dimension to her cropped-cut; I want it to look as believable as possible.” Her cut-colour combo always score high-praise on Cityline.
Robyn is an in-demand Elite Agency model/ ultra-ombre blonde. Jed glazes Robyn’s lengthy hair with a halo of hilitghts every four months to give her that coveted ‘Lauren Conrad-effect’. Jed: “The ombre-look is great because it gives permission to be low maintenance and it allows blonde hair to have more dimension; Dina also wears this hair-hue well!” Long-hair devotees take note: you have professional endorsement to space out your colouring appointments; keep your long hair healthy!
